Scholarship Award Notification: May 7, 2027 Award Notice emails and texts sent to scholarship winners
1st Year Acceptance Deadline: May 14, 2027 Scholarship winners must accept/decline their awards
1st Year Award Sent to your university: June 2027
2nd Year Award Request Deadline: July 1, 2027 2 documents must be received by Scholarship Committee
2nd Year Awards Sent to your university: July 2027
1st Year Freshman and 1st Year Junior Transfer Students: ($5,000 Awards) :

Your FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS) cover page(s) showing the amount of your Federal Pell Grant and your Student Aid Index (SAI) (PDF Format)
One College Admission Offer Letter from the College/University of your choice (PDF Format)
Your Resume: Include (with dates): work experience, community service, extra-curricular activities, awards received, etc. (PDF Format).
Your one-page essay of your career and life goals and why you should be considered for this scholarship (PDF Format)
From your High School or 2-year Community College Transcript Department :
Your latest transcript (with or without final grades) (PDF Format)
From your 2 Recommenders (teacher, administrator, church leader, etc.)
1st Letter of Recommendation (on institutional letterhead in PDF format)
2nd Letter of Recommendation (on institutional letterhead in PDF format)
Important: All eight 1st year documents (Application + 7 supporting documents) must be received by our Scholarship Committee no later than the Application Window Close date of April 30, 2027. Any missing documents after the application window closes will automatically disqualify you from receiving one of our 1st year awards so please get all your documents submitted early.
2nd Year Sophomore and 2nd Year Senior Transfer Students: ($3,000 Awards) :

Important: The two 2nd year documents must be received by our Scholarship Committee no later than the 2nd Year Award Request Deadline date of July 1, 2027. Any missing documents after this deadline will automatically disqualify you from receiving one of our 2nd year awards so please get all your documents submitted early.
Application Processing Status
Applicants will be notified of the progress of their application via email and text from our Scholarship Committee. Processing status will be one of the following:
